TOO late! I used to have and run Spyware Doctor all the time. Then I had a major crash and somehow this program did not get reinstalled. So here I am with a nasty virus of some sort that prevents me from launching ANY helpful program to remove malware. Don't make this mistake.INSTALL AND USE SPYWARE DOCTOR. It's a great help!

Someone recently deleted a lot of files by accident - the same day they were created so they had to be recovered from the trash. I used 2 different programs to do that - GetDataBack and Ontrack. All files were corrupt - Excel Recovery Tool 2.0 was only able to recover 1 out of 75 files - very disappointing.
 sadly, it does nothing for corrupted formatting so I ended up saving the file as comma delimited text then creating an entirely new spreadsheet from it to reduce the file size from 15263kb to 57kb

Esiepker. I would not recommend this product, as I have had nothing but trouble when trying to run the defrag function of it. The tech support people were hopeless as far as getting a solution to the problem - that's if I could even get through on the telephone. When I tried the online chat support the person on the other end took forever to respond to my input. I have no idea what they were doing, it sure wasn't typing on the computer to give me a response.
